Scaring for a purpose

Pembroke Rescue Trail of Terror is a non-profit charity haunt dedicated to serving our community. Every scream in the dark helps provide essential training, advanced equipment, and emergency medical response gear for our volunteer and career first responders.

Serving Robeson County day and night

We are a rural rescue and EMS squad proudly servicing all of Robeson County. Stationed in Pembroke, North Carolina, right outside the beautiful UNC Pembroke campus, our dedicated crash team stands ready to respond to major car accidents, technical rescues, and critical 911 calls. Our team of EMTs and paramedics works around the clock to provide urgent transport and compassionate emergency care whenever our neighbors need us most.

How your ticket saves lives

As a local non-profit rescue and EMS agency, we rely heavily on community support, fundraisers, and charitable donations. All proceeds generated by our haunted trail directly fund vital, life-saving training programs for our squad members and finance critical modern rescue equipment. Every ticket purchased directly enhances our ability to arrive prepared and save lives during serious emergencies.

More ways to support our crew

Too frightened to step into the dark woods? You can still support our cause without entering the trail! We gratefully accept direct community donations. You can also join us on the lawn to relax around our warm bonfire, catch a classic horror movie on the outdoor screen, and grab delicious concessions. S'mores kits are available for just $5 each, giving everyone in Pembroke and Robeson County a way to enjoy the season together.

"Knowing that all the terrifying fun directly supports our local paramedics and crash rescue team makes this the best Halloween tradition in Robeson County."
